I have a Pot Luck to go to for the Dances of Universal Peace Solstice Dance, today, so I can ski till around 2:30 - 3 PM. Got a fresh 2-4 inches last night. It's amazing what even a little fresh can do to turn the skiing at Bridger Bowl into pure bliss. I skied to Bridger Chair immediately and skied the new lift line a couple times for a warm up. The bumps were blown in and quite smooth but my quads were on fire by the time I skied non-stop from top to bottom. I skied what used to be called, "Shack to Shack". There is no longer a lower shack since Deer Park was removed, the run just keeps going and going. Shack to shack now means the 1500 vertical from the Top of Bridger to the Bottom of Bridger! The new return from the south bowl to the bottom of Bridger is lower on the mountain now and much faster return since it doesn't twist and turn in the Sluice Box anymore. An old hill with new changes that so far seem to be working out for the better. Time will tell. Skied Bradley's Meadow last run of the day again and once again it was some of the best snow on the mountain. I can pretty much ski the trees all the way to the boundary road without having to stop, unless I want to. The valleys were filled with low lying clouds today. All the peaks were sticking out of the clouds and it was just beautiful to see.
